About the event
Goree is chairman of the Denton Black Chamber of Commerce. Money goes toward Women and Minority Business Enterprise mentorships for young people and next year’s festival, among other things.
The Denton Blues Festival is held together almost entirely by volunteer efforts, Baines said. It also relies on donations from sponsors. Big Bill is returning for the 3rd time and is backed by the 'Super Kings" an outstanding band that has backed Bill many times.
